Fetches live exchange rates directly from a public rate provider (never through Burnjet's own servers) and caches them in your browser for an hour, so conversions stay fast without re-fetching on every keystroke.

Rates are fetched live and refreshed automatically once an hour, or any time you press Refresh. If live rates are ever unreachable, the tool falls back to an approximate table and clearly labels it as such — it never silently shows stale numbers as if they were current.
